## Calculation

The card matches items listed on Depop and on rival marketplaces, computes the price spread for each, and lists those exceeding the spread tolerance. Vortex IQ reads prices from the Depop integration and the comparison channels and matches on the shared item identifier. ## Worked example

## Reconciling against Depop

**Where to look in Depop's own dashboard:**

Depop shows only its own price, with no view of rival marketplaces, so the spread is invisible there. Reconcile by opening a flagged item on Depop and comparing its price directly against the same listing on Mercari or Vinted.

**Q: How often does this card update?**
The card refreshes on the standard data refresh (typically every 30-60 minutes for live integrations), recomparing prices across marketplaces each cycle.

**Q: Some spread is intentional. Does the card account for that?**
It flags spreads above your tolerance, so set the threshold to reflect deliberate channel pricing. Items within tolerance do not appear; only gaps wide enough to matter are listed.

**Q: Should Depop always be the cheapest channel?**
Not necessarily. The point is intent, not uniformity. Decide your channel pricing strategy, then use the card to catch unintended drift away from it rather than enforcing identical prices.

**Q: Can I customise the alert threshold?**
