# Late Shipments, Fruugo

> Late Shipments for Fruugo stores. Tracked live in Vortex IQ Nerve Centre. How to read it, why it matters, and how to act on it.

**Card class:** [Hero](/nerve-centre/overview#card-classes-explained) • **Category:** [Marketplace](/nerve-centre/connectors#connectors-by-type)

## At a glance

> **Late Shipments** is a live alert surface listing every Fruugo order that has already passed its ship-by deadline. Because Fruugo routes cross-border orders across 40+ country marketplaces, each missed dispatch erodes your on-time shipping rate and your seller standing in every locale at once. It fires on any order past its deadline, so an empty list is the only healthy state. Treat each row as a clock that is already running against your account health.

| | |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **What it counts** | Orders whose Fruugo ship-by deadline has already passed and that are not yet marked dispatched. |
| **Sample type** | Live alert list, one row per overdue order |
| **Why it matters** | Late dispatch directly lowers on-time shipping rate, invites buyer disputes and cancellations, and pushes your Fruugo account toward throttling. |
| **Reading the value** | Zero rows is healthy. Each row is an order already overdue; the row shows the order, destination country, and how far past deadline it is. |
| **Currency** | `count` |
| **Time window** | `RT` |
| **Alert trigger** | `any order past ship_deadline` |
| **Sentiment key** | `fru_alert_dispatch_sla_miss` |
| **Roles** | owner, operations |

## Calculation

The card compares each open order's Fruugo ship-by deadline against the current time and lists any order that is past deadline without a recorded dispatch. Orders already marked shipped drop off the list immediately. Because deadlines are set per order at the point of sale, the list reflects the live cross-border dispatch queue rather than a rolling average.

## Worked example

*A representative reading of **Late Shipments** for a typical merchant on Fruugo.* On 12 Mar 26 the card shows 4 overdue orders (illustrative): two bound for Sweden now 9 hours past deadline, one for Italy 3 hours over, and one for Ireland 1 hour over after a courier collection was missed. The operations lead sees the queue before any buyer message arrives. Vortex Mind investigates whether the delay is concentrated in one warehouse or one carrier lane, and Ask Viq answers "which late orders are oldest and which countries are affected" in plain English so the team can prioritise the most damaging dispatches first.

## Sibling cards merchants should reference together

| [`fru_pending_ship`](/nerve-centre/kpi-cards/fruugo/pending-shipment) | Fulfilment sibling: Pending Shipment. |

## Reconciling against Fruugo Merchant Portal

**Where to look in Fruugo's own dashboard:** Open the Fruugo Merchant Portal and filter the orders view to those awaiting dispatch, sorted by ship-by date. The overdue orders at the top of that list are the same orders Vortex IQ surfaces, but the Portal does not push them as a single live alert the way this card does.

**Why the Vortex IQ value may legitimately differ:**

| Reason | Direction | What to do |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Dispatch confirmation lagged in the Portal but the parcel has shipped | Vortex IQ higher | Record the dispatch so the order clears both the Portal and this card. |
| Portal timezone display differs from your operating timezone | Either | Confirm the deadline is read in the same timezone before acting. |
| Order cancelled or refunded in the Portal but not yet synced | Vortex IQ higher | Refresh the integration; cancelled orders drop off the late list. |

**Cross-connector reconciliation:** Read this card alongside `fru_on_time_ship_rate` and `fru_pending_ship` to see both the live overdue queue and its impact on your rate, and let Vortex Mind trace whether lateness clusters in a single carrier or destination.

## Known limitations / merchant FAQs

**Q: How often does this card update?**
It is a real-time surface. Orders appear the moment they pass their ship-by deadline and drop off as soon as a dispatch is recorded.

**Q: Why might the Fruugo Merchant Portal show a different picture?**
The Portal lists orders awaiting dispatch but does not present overdue ones as a single live alert. Timezone display and dispatch-confirmation lag can also make the Portal and this card disagree briefly.

**Q: How does this relate to the sibling cards?**
This card is the live overdue queue; `fru_on_time_ship_rate` shows the resulting rate over time, and `fru_pending_ship` shows the broader unshipped backlog before deadlines are breached.

**Q: Can I customise the alert threshold?**
The default fires on any order past its ship-by deadline. You can add a grace buffer or filter by destination country so the alert matches your fulfilment cut-offs.
