# Pages Gaining Traffic, Google Search Console

> Lists the pages whose organic clicks rose most over the period, so you can double down on what is working. How to read it, why it matters, and how to act on it.

**Card class:** [Non-Hero](/nerve-centre/overview#card-classes-explained) • **Category:** [Page SEO Performance](/nerve-centre/connectors#connectors-by-type)

> A table of the pages whose organic clicks grew the most period on period, ranked so you can see which content and templates are winning ground in search.

## At a glance

> **Pages Gaining Traffic** ranks the individual pages whose organic clicks increased the most across the selected period, drawn from Search Console's page-level Performance data. It is the positive counterpart to Pages Losing Traffic: it shows SEO and content teams which pages are gaining momentum so they can reinforce winning content, internally link to it, and learn what made it work.

## What it tracks

The card shows **Pages Gaining Traffic, broken down by row**, with one row per URL. It compares each page's organic clicks (and supporting impressions, CTR and average position) for the current period against the prior period, using the page dimension of the Search Console Performance report, and lists the biggest gainers. A page rises here for one of a few reasons: a content refresh has lifted its rankings, a query it ranks for has grown in demand, or a competitor has slipped. There is no fixed alert; treat this as an opportunity list. Pair it with [Rising Queries](/nerve-centre/kpi-cards/google-search-console/rising-queries) to see which searches drove the gain and with [Performance by Page Type](/nerve-centre/kpi-cards/google-search-console/performance-by-page-type) to spot whether a whole template is on the up.

## Reconciling against the source

Reconcile against **Search Console → Performance → Pages**, using the date-range comparison ("Compare" mode) to sort pages by click difference. Note that GSC data is typically 2 to 3 days delayed, rare queries are anonymised, and the page table is capped at 1,000 rows, so a fast-growing long-tail page may not yet appear if its volume is still low.
