On Newegg, tech buyers in different states skew toward different categories, with some regions leaning to high-ticket components and others to accessories, so the spread here is a useful read on demand mix and where marketing spend earns the most. The card sums order revenue per US shipping-destination state over the window and divides by the order count for that state to produce a per-state average order value, then ranks the states for display. States with very few orders in the window may show a noisy average, so weight the read by order volume.
