# Required-Attribute Completeness, Walmart Marketplace

## Calculation

Vortex IQ evaluates each listing against the set of attributes Walmart marks as required for that product's category, then expresses the fully complete listings as a percentage of the catalogue. ## Worked example

*A representative reading of **Required-Attribute Completeness** for a typical merchant on Walmart Marketplace.* On 12 Mar 26 a seller with a representative 2,400 listings sees completeness at 92%, below the threshold. ## Reconciling against Walmart Seller Center

**Where to look in Walmart Seller Center:**

Verify against the Listing Quality dashboard and the Item or Catalog area, where Walmart flags listings with missing or incomplete required attributes. The listing-level quality detail shows exactly which attributes are absent.

## Known limitations / merchant FAQs

**Q: How often does Required-Attribute Completeness update?**
The card refreshes on the standard data refresh (typically every 30-60 minutes for live integrations). For real-time signals, force a manual refresh from the dashboard.

**Q: Why does my Walmart Seller Center show a different number?**
Walmart periodically updates which attributes are required per category, so Seller Center may reflect a new requirement slightly before or after Vortex IQ recalculates. Filter scope (fulfilment type, test items, or suppressed listings) can also change which listings are counted in the denominator.

**Q: Do optional or recommended attributes count toward this card?**
No, this card counts only Walmart's category-mandated required attributes; recommended fields can still help LQS but are not part of this completeness percentage.

**Q: Can I customise the alert threshold?**
Yes, sensitivity thresholds are configurable per profile in the Sensitivity tab. Adjust to match your business baseline rather than relying on the generic default.
