Vortex IQ gives you two ways to create an account and two ways to sign in every day after that. The signup form at app.vortexiq.ai/login has separate paths for merchants managing their own store and agencies managing multiple client storefronts. Once your account exists, Google SSO gets you in with one click, while email and password is there for teams that prefer it.Documentation Index

Create an account
- I am a merchant
- I am an agency
The merchant path is for Shopify, BigCommerce, or Adobe Commerce store owners who want an AI agentic operating system that audits their storefront, monitors revenue, and ships fixes. No credit card is required, and the median time from clicking Create account to seeing first audit findings is under five minutes. Before you start, have ready:
- A work email address (a domain email is recommended for team setup later)
- Your store admin URL or Google Workspace credentials for the connector step that follows
Open the Create account tab
Go to app.vortexiq.ai/login and click Create account at the top of the right-hand form. Confirm I am a merchant is selected — it is the default.
Choose your signup method
You have two options. Continue with the path that fits your setup.Option A — Continue with Google (recommended)Click Continue with Google. Pick the Google account you want tied to this workspace. The Google consent screen asks only for your name, email, and profile picture — no access to Gmail, Drive, or Calendar. Once you accept, Vortex IQ creates your account and drops you into the onboarding wizard. Google verifies your email, so you skip the email verification step entirely.Option B — Email and magic linkFill in the three fields:
Click Get a secure magic link. An email titled Your Vortex IQ secure link arrives within seconds. Click the button in the email to open the set-password screen, set your password, and you are signed in.
| Field | Example | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Priya Shah | Used in the UI and on team invites |
| Company | Acme Outdoors | Becomes your workspace name — appears on every dashboard, alert, and invite |
| Work email | priya@acmeoutdoors.com | Receives the magic link, alerts, and weekly digests |
The Company field controls three things: the workspace name that appears in every dashboard and email, the default tenant boundary so data stays isolated between brands, and the signature on outbound AI-agent alerts. You can rename it later from Settings → Account, but typing the right name now is easier.
Once your account exists, the Sign in tab on the login page offers two paths.- Continue with Google
- Email and password
Click Continue with Google
On app.vortexiq.ai/login, click Continue with Google at the top of the Sign in form.
Pick your account
A Google account picker opens. Select the Google account that was used to create your Vortex IQ workspace.
Complete any Google 2FA
If your organisation enforces 2-step verification, security keys, or passkeys at the Google layer, complete that challenge now. Vortex IQ trusts whatever Google’s authentication infrastructure approves — your IT team’s existing policies carry through automatically.
/login with a valid session token redirects you straight to your workspace without showing the form.Magic link login
The magic-link flow appears in one specific moment: the email signup path on the Create account tab. It is not used for day-to-day logins. When you click Get a secure magic link, Vortex IQ generates a one-time signed link and emails it to the address you typed. The email arrives from thevortexiq.ai domain with the subject Your Vortex IQ secure link. It contains a single button labelled Set up your account.
Click the button in the email
The button opens a new tab at a one-time URL. The page that opens is the set-password screen.
Set your password
Choose a password (minimum eight characters, at least one letter and one number). Confirm it by typing it again and click Continue.
vortexiq.ai. A typo in the email address is the most common cause — start the signup again with the correct address. If you used Continue with Google at signup, you can always skip the magic-link path entirely.
Password reset
Click Forgot?
On app.vortexiq.ai/login, click the small Forgot? link to the right of the Password label. The form switches to a single email field.
Enter your work email and submit
Type the email tied to your Vortex IQ account and click Send reset link. A confirmation message appears reading something like if an account exists with this email, you will receive a reset link. This message is identical whether the email exists or not — Vortex IQ does not confirm or deny account existence to prevent account enumeration.
Click the button in the reset email
The email arrives from
vortexiq.ai with a descriptive subject line. Click the button to open a one-time reset URL. The page shows New password and Confirm new password fields.Set the new password
Type and confirm your new password. Requirements: minimum 8 characters, at least one letter, at least one number. Symbols are recommended but not required. Click Continue.
Reset links are one-time and time-bound (typically 30 to 60 minutes). If the link expires, request a fresh one from the Forgot? flow. Your other active sessions are not invalidated automatically — if you suspect compromise, sign out of other sessions from Settings → Account after resetting.
Google SSO in detail
Vortex IQ uses Google Cloud Identity Platform (GCIP). The Continue with Google button appears identically on both the Sign in and Create account tabs. What Google asks for: your name, email address, and Google profile picture. Vortex IQ does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or Google Search Console at the sign-in step. Each of those is a separate optional connector with its own independent consent flow. Google Workspace SSO and domain restrictions: if your organisation uses Okta, Azure AD, or another IdP federated to Google Workspace, the button delegates to Google, which delegates to your IdP. You see your normal SSO experience; Vortex IQ receives and trusts the signed token at the end. Your IT team’s existing policies — security keys, hardware tokens, geofencing — carry through automatically. You do not need to whitelist Vortex IQ as an SSO target. Multiple workspaces: if your Google account is linked to more than one Vortex IQ workspace, the workspace switcher appears in the top-right after sign-in. Switching workspaces does not require re-authentication.| Action | Effect on Vortex IQ session | Effect on Google session |
|---|---|---|
| Click Log out in Vortex IQ sidebar | Ends Vortex IQ session immediately | No change — Google login persists |
Sign out of Google (e.g. from accounts.google.com) | No immediate change — session continues until expiry | Ends Google session across all Google products |
Clear cookies for accounts.google.com | Vortex IQ session continues until expiry | Forces full re-auth at next Google sign-in |
