Vortex Apps is the operational app suite of Vortex IQ. Seven specialised applications run alongside Nerve Centre, Vortex Mind, and Ask Viq, giving you the safety nets and operational power to run an ecommerce business without crossing your fingers every time you deploy. Each app closes a gap that your ecommerce platform leaves open — whether that is the absence of a real staging environment, no undo button after a bad bulk edit, or the operational mess of managing inventory across five marketplaces at once.

The seven apps

AppPlatformWhat it does
StagingProBigCommerceSpin up a staging copy of your live storefront. Test theme changes, app installs, and configuration tweaks safely before promoting to production.
RollbackProBigCommerceContinuous backup of your live store with one-click rollback. The undo button for BigCommerce.
Vortex StagingShopifyShopify counterpart to StagingPro. Theme, app, and config preview before you publish.
Vortex BackupShopifyContinuous Shopify backup with per-record and full-store rollback. Recover from a botched bulk edit, theme regression, or app misconfiguration.
DryRunProAdobe Commerce / MagentoCombined staging and backup for the Adobe Commerce Cloud deployment surface. Built for the multi-store, multi-environment Adobe Commerce reality.
CloudHubMarketplacesMultichannel inventory and order management for marketplace operators. Sync inventory, route orders, and manage listings across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and more from one console.
App BuilderCross-platformAI-agent-powered custom app builder. Describe what you want in plain English; the agent builds and deploys it. Replaces the legacy Agent Hub.

Why Vortex Apps matters

Ecommerce platforms ship with a publish button and not much else. A theme change goes live with no preview surface. An app install changes settings with no undo. A bulk product edit can corrupt your catalogue with no recovery path. Vortex Apps closes those safety gaps and adds operational power the platforms themselves never built. The two strongest examples: StagingPro and Vortex Staging give you something you cannot get from Shopify or BigCommerce natively — a true staging environment that mirrors production. RollbackPro, Vortex Backup, and DryRunPro give you something even more important: the ability to undo a mistake without re-keying the entire store from a manual export. CloudHub addresses the third operational pillar. Multichannel commerce across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and your own store is operationally hostile because each channel has different inventory rules, listing requirements, and order workflows. CloudHub is the unified console that makes multichannel actually run. App Builder is the bring-your-own-workflow surface. When you have a process specific to your business that no off-the-shelf app covers, you describe it in plain English and the AI agent builds it.

How Vortex Apps connects to the rest of the AI OS

Each Vortex App ties back to relevant Nerve Centre cards so you can watch the right KPIs before and after a staging push, a backup restore, or a marketplace listing change. Vortex Mind reports flag the failure modes that a Vortex App can resolve. Actions findings route into the relevant app. Ask Viq exposes app-specific question patterns for each one — you can ask “did my last StagingPro migration succeed?” and get a direct answer.
