What you need
- A Shopify store, and permission to install apps on it.
- Chrome on a computer, for AI visibility tests and content research. Everything else works in any browser the Shopify admin supports.
- A Google Analytics property, if you want to see AI visits. This is optional.
Set up the app

Install from Shopify
Install the app and approve the permissions Shopify asks for. The app opens in your Shopify admin.

Go through the welcome steps
The welcome steps introduce your sales, AI testing, content planning, store fixes and Sidekick. They show once, until you finish them.

Install the VortexIQ extension
On the Install the VortexIQ extension step, add the extension to Chrome. The app detects it, then asks you to allow this app in the extension. You accept once, on the extension’s own page.

Connect Google Analytics
On the Sign in with Google Analytics step, sign in and choose your property. You can skip this and connect later in Settings.
The welcome steps are best done on a computer, because the extension runs in desktop Chrome.
