Active Etsy Listings for OOS SKUs on BC counts Etsy listings that are still live and buyable for SKUs that are out of stock in your BigCommerce (BC) source-of-truth catalogue. This is a cross-channel card and a top-priority sync gap. When BC shows zero stock but the Etsy listing stays open, a buyer can place an order you cannot fulfil. That forces a cancellation, which damages the customer experience and, critically, counts against your Star Seller metrics, putting the badge at risk. Any value above zero is a live fulfilment hazard. The goal is to keep this card at zero by closing or zeroing the Etsy listing the moment BC stock runs out.

Calculation
Vortex IQ matches each active Etsy listing to its SKU in the BigCommerce source-of-truth catalogue and checks the BC stock level. A listing is counted when it is active and buyable on Etsy while its BC SKU is at or below zero available stock. The result is a real-time count, so it updates as soon as BC stock changes or an Etsy listing is closed. Because BC is the canonical stock record, BC availability is treated as authoritative for this check.Worked example
Illustrative numbers. On 14 Jun 26 the card jumps from 0 to 3 after a popular handmade candle sells out across all channels on BC but the Etsy listings stay open. Within the hour two orders land on Etsy for stock that does not exist. Reconciling against Etsy Shop Manager
Where to look in Etsy Shop Manager: Open Shop Manager, then Listings, and confirm the flagged listings are still active with quantity above zero. Then open the same SKU in the BigCommerce control panel catalogue (Products) and confirm the BC stock level is zero. The mismatch (active on Etsy, zero on BC) is exactly what this card flags, with BC stock treated as the source of truth.
