At a glance
Total Listings is a listing-health metric tracked from Vinted data. It is the full count of listings in your shop, the inventory base every other listing-health and discovery metric is measured against. On Vinted, catalogue size correlates with reach: more well-made listings mean more entry points into search and more chances to be favourited. Tracking the total tells you whether your catalogue is growing, holding, or shrinking faster than you replenish.
| What it counts | The total number of listings in the shop, the base for active, stale, and completeness measures. |
| Sample type | Backend API data from Vinted, refreshed on the standard data refresh. |
| Why it matters | Catalogue size sets the ceiling on reach and sales. A steadily growing total signals a healthy listing cadence; a shrinking total without matching sales can mean the shop is running down stock faster than it adds. |
| Reading the value | Read it as a base figure and a trend. Compare against active listings to see how much of the catalogue is actually live and discoverable. |

Calculation
Calculated automatically from your Vinted data. Vortex IQ counts the listings in your shop to give the catalogue total, which other listing-health cards use as their denominator. See the At a glance summary above for what the metric tracks and the worked example below for a typical reading.Worked example
A representative reading of Total Listings for a typical Pro seller on Vinted. The shop shows 640 total listings. Set against 600 active listings, that means around 40 are not currently live, drafts, paused, or recently sold and not yet cleared. A month ago the total was 580, so the catalogue is growing at a healthy listing cadence. The read here is reassuring: stock is being added faster than it sells, keeping reach climbing. If the total had fallen while sales stayed flat, that would prompt a listing push to replenish discovery surface. Reconciling against Vinted
Where to look in Vinted’s own dashboard: Vinted shows your listing count on your shop profile and in your wardrobe view. Reconcile by checking the count shown on your profile against this card, noting whether your profile count includes only live items or also drafts and sold items. Why the Vortex IQ value may legitimately differ:| Reason | Direction | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Scope. Vortex IQ’s total may include states (drafts, paused) that the public shop count excludes. | Higher than the live count | Confirm which states each count includes. |
| Refresh timing. A just-added or just-sold listing may not reflect until the next refresh. | Marginal | Allow for short refresh lag. |
| Sold handling. Recently sold items may linger in the total briefly before clearing. | Marginal | Allow for sold items clearing on a slight delay. |
