At a glance
Supplier Badge KPI Threshold Crossed is a composite alert metric tracked from Alibaba data. It watches the three KPIs that underpin your Verified and Gold Supplier standing - RFQ response rate, on-time delivery, and Trade Assurance dispute rate - and fires the moment any one drifts past its safe band. For a B2B supplier this is an early warning that a badge downgrade and the visibility cut that follows may be coming. The card sits in the Nerve Centre category and pairs with sibling alert and health cards listed below to build a complete diagnostic picture.
| What it counts | The number of badge-critical KPIs that have crossed their threshold right now: RFQ response rate, on-time delivery rate, and Trade Assurance dispute rate. Each breach is listed so you can see which one moved. |
| Sample type | Backend API data from Alibaba, refreshed on the standard data refresh. |
| Why it matters | Crossing any of the three thresholds can trigger a Verified or Gold Supplier downgrade, which cuts search ranking and buyer trust across your storefront. Catching it live lets you correct before the badge review lands. |
| Reading the value | Any value above zero means at least one badge KPI is in the danger band. Open the list to see which KPI breached and act on that one first. |

Calculation
Vortex IQ reads your current RFQ response rate, on-time delivery rate, and Trade Assurance dispute rate from the Alibaba integration and compares each against its badge threshold. When response rate falls below 70%, on-time delivery falls below 95%, or dispute rate rises above 3%, that KPI is counted as crossed and added to the alert list. The card reports how many of the three are currently breached and names each one. See the worked example below for a typical reading.Worked example
A representative reading of Supplier Badge KPI Threshold Crossed for a typical Alibaba supplier. Suppose a Gold Supplier sees RFQ response rate slip to 64% during a busy week while on-time delivery holds at 97% and dispute rate sits at 1.2%. The card reads 1 and lists the response-rate breach as the active item. The interpretation is clear: two KPIs are healthy, but the response-rate miss alone is enough to risk a downgrade at the next review, so the priority is clearing the inquiry backlog and lifting reply speed back over the threshold. Reconciling against Alibaba Seller dashboard
Where to look in Alibaba’s own dashboard: The three underlying KPIs live in My Alibaba under the Account Health or Star Rating view, with response metrics also visible in the Message Centre and delivery and dispute metrics in Trade Assurance and Orders. Confirm period boundaries and filter settings match the Vortex IQ profile to reconcile cleanly. Why the Vortex IQ value may legitimately differ:| Reason | Direction | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Period boundary. Alibaba’s badge KPIs roll over a fixed assessment window; Vortex IQ evaluates the live current reading. | Variable | Match the assessment window before comparing. |
| Time zone. Alibaba uses the account time zone for KPI cut-offs; Vortex IQ aligns to your merchant reporting time zone. | Marginal | Confirm time zone match. |
| Filter scope. Profile-level filters (storefront, product line, test orders) may narrow the Vortex IQ view of inquiries and orders. | Variable | Match filter settings. |
